LCT Airsoft AK74M 2.0

The LCT AK74M 2.0 (LCK-74M) AEG kicks off LCT's new AK 2.0 range in a strong way. This is not just a minor update to the previous LCK-74M model, but a clearly revamped high-end AEG with a particular focus on the durability of the mechanism, modern internals and smart electronics.

Externally, the AK74M 2.0 continues what LCT's AK models are known for: a realistic all-steel construction, a solid feel and the classic AK74M profile. The all-steel frame makes the weapon feel sturdy and believable, and the folding stock makes it easier to transport and store. The overall length of the weapon is 945 mm and the stock is 705 mm when folded, so it is a full-size AK74M model with a practical folding stock.

However, the biggest difference to previous LCT AK models is found on the inside. The AK 2.0 series has a redesigned mechanism to better meet the requirements of a modern AEG weapon. The model features the GATE ASTER II Bluetooth electronics unit, which enables wireless connection to the GATE Control Station application. The application allows the weapon's settings, diagnostics and operation to be adjusted much more versatilely than a traditional AEG.

GATE ASTER II replaces traditional mechanical trigger contacts with a system based on optical sensors. This improves the trigger response time, reduces mechanical wear and brings modern adjustment options to the weapon. Depending on the settings and software version, ASTER II enables, for example, trigger sensitivity adjustment, programming of fire modes, pre-cocking function, active brake, battery protection and diagnostics. In practice, this means that the weapon can be adjusted more precisely for different playing styles, such as rapid single fire or reliable continuous fire.

There has also been a clear focus on mechanical durability. The AK74M 2.0 is equipped with a reinforced gearbox housing, MIM steel gears, CNC machined cylinder head, CNC machined piston head, CNC machined nozzle, steel ball bearing spring guide, 9mm bearings and a 35,000 rpm brushless motor. This makes the 2.0 series a significant upgrade over older AK AEG models, especially for the player who wants a powerful and modern factory-built package.

The weapon features a 455 mm chrome-plated brass inner barrel, a POM rotary hop-up unit and an included 130-round magazine. The muzzle has 14 mm CCW / 24 mm CW threads, which provide good compatibility with various muzzle devices. The battery is placed under the frame cover, which maintains the classic AK appearance of the weapon.
