AIRTACHPA AR - HYP - 9 MWS HPA Receiver

CNC Machined from 7075 Aluminium at our state-of-the-art production facility in Northern Ireland, the HYP-AR is our magnum-opus to HPA GBBR in airsoft. 

Integrated HPA, Bolt Lock, Native Controls. The HYP-9 lower receiver is designed  around ASG Scorpion EVO magazines, and will transform your MWS into a HPA-powered blowback monster.

Compatible with both mid and high cap ASG EVO magazines.

Bolt Lock works best when the mag goes from not empty to empty. This allows the EVO mag follower to pop up correctly, actuating the bolt catch lever. It is best to not drop the bolt with an empty magazine in the replica, as it may damage the EVO magazine (it will not damage the HYP-AR).

• The HYP-AR has a small internal volume. Because of this, you will need to use a PSI of 130–160.
• Ensure a high enough PSI that your bolt can return to battery reliably, ensuring consistent FPS, then regulate FPS with an NPAS.
• If you need higher FPS, you can:
  • Fit a tighter barrel
  • Use a longer barrel
  • Use heavier BBs
  • Fit an improved hop bucking
• If your replica has an NPAS fitted, we advise opening it halfway.
• Before connecting air, rack the HYP-AR using the charging handle. This is to ensure the hammer is not resting against the valve knocker, preventing a negligent discharge.
• A gap between upper and lower at the stock turret is completely normal on Double Eagle receivers. This is to accomodate various generations / tolerances and does not impact performance.
