The Specna Arms: Retro range was developed in collaboration with S&T/AGM. It is a series of classic historical replicas, designed for enthusiasts of iconic designs from past decades. Models in this range faithfully replicate the appearance of the original weapons, making them ideal for historical re-enactments and an excellent choice for enthusiasts of historical firearm replicas.

First of all, one thing must be made clear: the MP40 is not a Schmeisser ( although the markings on the magazine of the historical firearm version were misleading).
This replica from Specna Arms is intended for enthusiasts of historical military equipment and those interested in the history of the Second World War.
Specna Arms presents an icon of the Second World War. The MP40 is one of the most recognisable submachine guns, widely used by German units during the Second World War. Its legendary design, often featured in films and games, means the MP40 can confidently be considered one of the most recognisable designs in the world.

The model is made primarily from metal and polymer.
Metal: The frame, barrel, sights, magazine well and bolt cover are made of
Plastic: Part of the body, pistol grip panels.

The pistol features the legendary folding stock – it can be easily folded down, reducing the replica’s size to a minimum. Interestingly, the RETRO version offers both single-shot and automatic fire modes. Depending on whether the reload lever is in the forward or rear position, the replica will fire single shots or in bursts.

Inside the replica, you’ll find an X-ASR MOSFET.
The top-quality X-ASR MOSFET ensures the safety of the replica’s components, improves trigger response and extends the service life of the electronics and battery, whilst also allowing basic faults within the replica to be diagnosed thanks to the built-in indicator LEDs.
