Sabre VMP-2 NPAS v3

This is a NPAS design for the VMP-2, it replaces the rocket valve in your nozzle and allows for the power output of your gun to be reduced using only a simple tool.

This is 3D printed in a Nylon-like resin from eSun, it includes the NPAS valve and an adjusting tool. The tool allows you to adjust the power output of your nozzle without disassembling the BCG or nozzle, but can only be used on a nozzle with the brass flow restricter removed, which is easily knocked out by pushing from the front.

As these parts are small they can easily be broken by over enthusiastic use of the tool, so please be gentle when fitting and adjusting them. Once set the NPAS should stay at it’s position, but if through use you find it too loose a small amount of a mild thread lock can help it maintain position.

• 21/5/2025 - Updated to v2 - New tougher design which in testing gives parity with the original valve when fully closed, with reduction as you open it. If the screw comes loose from the base add a drop of threadlock and retighten.

• 1/7/2025 - Updated to v3 - End of Beta test. Improved shorter, and strengthened adjustment tool that makes it easier to adjust the NPAS without removing the BCG from the upper received. Better grip for fingers, notches for twisting with a tool, and a 4mm hex key hole.
