Far from a simple cosmetic evolution, this new generation has been developed to cover the entire engagement spectrum, from short-duration missions in temperate zones to extended deployments in hostile environments. The FIGHTER GEN 2 combat shirt embodies this philosophy by offering a combat garment designed for direct interface with the plate carrier, where thermal management and mechanical resistance become critical factors of individual performance. Every construction detail responds to a logic dictated by the field, never by aesthetics alone.
Textile construction and material performance
The sleeves of the combat shirt are cut from a NyCo RipStop fabric combining 50% nylon and 50% cotton, a proven standard in operational environments for its balance between tear resistance, breathability and long-term durability. The RipStop weave prevents the propagation of snags, a decisive asset during movement through dense vegetation or degraded urban areas.
The torso, meanwhile, is entirely made of 100% cotton, a deliberate technical choice that prioritises comfort in direct contact with the skin and optimal thermal regulation under the plate carrier. This combination of distinct materials between the torso and the sleeves illustrates the functional logic inherent to any professional-grade combat shirt : protecting and resisting where the fabric is exposed, while ensuring comfort and moisture-wicking where heat accumulates beneath protective equipment.
Reinforced shoulders for prolonged wear
At the shoulders, an area of constant pressure when wearing a loaded tactical plate carrier, the FIGHTER GEN 2 combat shirt incorporates 2 mm micro-perforated foam padding. This targeted reinforcement optimally absorbs strain and friction points during prolonged wear. The micro-perforated structure of the foam ensures continuous air circulation, preventing the build-up of heat and moisture in this critical area.
